How Can a Colour Laser Printer Benefit an Office
Colour laser printers are now a regular feature in offices throughout the world. Their popularity isn’t without justification either, a colour laser printer will produce exceptional prints in next to no time at all, throwing in long-term savings (both in efficiency and cost) for good measure too.
Laser printers are perfectly designed to fit in with a modern busy office, where time and accuracy are of the essence. It will provide a full colour page in a matter of seconds, although some models are clearly quicker than others. This reduces waiting time and helps to ensure that there isn’t a big queue of documents ready to go after you’ve finished.
A colour laser printer has one obvious advantage over its mono brother; it is able to print in full colour. This obviously provides added flexibility when it comes to producing documents, allowing you to produce clear images in their original form, rather than greyscale. This does come at a cost though, both in terms of the initial purchase expense and ongoing outlay, but for businesses this small difference might be a price worth swallowing.
Not only is the printing itself quick, but so too is the drying time. Unlike inkjets, which use a liquid based ink, the colour laser printer instead relies on powder filled toner cartridges. Because this doesn’t make the page ‘wet’, as with the liquid versions, it can be dry and touchable almost instantaneously. In an office environment this can be hugely important, because the last thing you want is to have smudges all over your pages or have to wait a few minutes before collecting. If your business relies on speed and efficiency, the laser printer could well provide you with the ideal printing solution.
These toner cartridges do come at some expense though. Typically each of the individual colours (of which there are four: yellow, magenta, cyan and black) will set you back over
