HP Pavilion P6720f Desktop PC Is The Ideal PC For Beginners

As people look at purchasing a computer, many want their computer to do certain things well. They might wish to play games, watch flicks, store images, or just search the Internet. A good PC thats fits the needs of your regular new user is the HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC. This HP computer comes with a good sized hard drive and plenty of RAM but it doesn’t have a powerful graphics card instead it is shared with the processor. The HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC is not a high-end computer system so this is not for hardcore gamers. There won’t be much video gaming, but that will let you focus on your computer time.

A few of the features of the HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC are the $600 price tag, a 2.9GHz AMD Phenom ll 840T quad-core CPU, 6 GB of RAM installed, and a 1TB hard drive, which is plenty for a budget machine. Additionally, this HP computer features 802.11n Wi-Fi, ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics, and a DVD burner.

The tower features a plain, average black chassis, but the front is made of glossy black plastic. There is an extra bay under the DVD panel if you plan to add another hard drive or maybe a Blu-Ray player. The HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC is more or less seven inches wide and has the power button at the top of the case. Likewise, the computer comes with a regular keyboard and optical mouse. Many newer computers these days come packed with all kinds of unnecessary software, but the HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC comes with surprisingly little. It is bundled with some try-before-you-buy software and HPs excellent MediaSmart video and music suite.

This HP computer also has several input ports plus a multi-format card reader. The HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC also includes microphone and headphone jacks and two USB 2.0 ports in the front. Because this is a budget computer system, and not for multimedia, a couple of things are missing. The rear of the PC has four USB 2.0 ports, DVI port, VGA port and a digital audio port. Furthermore, the PC features 7.1 surround sound support. If you are looking for a little room for expansion, you will be frustrated. Inside the tower, the wires are all clustered in the center. There isn’t a great deal that can be done in the way of putting in more parts. However, you can upgrade the video card.

The HP Pavilion p6720f Desktop PC, is the wrong computer for you if you are looking to play PC games. The ATI integrated graphics chip was not built to handle the graphics involved in numerous high end computer games. These low-end computers was never meant for power gaming. If you need a machine for high end games, then something like the Micro Express MicroFlex 25B is suited for that but it will cost you several hundred dollars more. The Pavilion p6720f, for the price, has enough hard drive, and a quad-core processor that will give you lots of speed. This HP Pavilion computer was suitable for me, because it did everything that I needed it to do. This PC is extremely easy to use, really fast and it didnt hurt my pocketbook. We realize how hard it can be to mini notebook computers unless you know the proper way to mini notebook computers. You do not have to face aggravation with mini notebook computers any more – you’ll need this now, not later.
