Activision have now released their earnings report for the quarter just gone. They have announced that they made giant $200 million profit on a $1 billion earnings. However, the golden piece of video game news behind this announced is the possible hint of some new games dropped into the report.

Dropped into the financial report were some hints that we could be seeing new games for Spiderman, Tony Hawk and James Bond. Although the Spiderman and the Tony Hawk game is not confirmed, the president of Activision, Mike Griffith did confirm the Bond game. Unfortunately, very little information has been announced about the game, just that it’s being made.

The most recent Bond game was released by Activision, and it has been one of the best James Bond games so far. The game followed the storyline of both films Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace and allowed the player to play as Bond through both stories. That was had been developed by Treyarch, the guys behind the most recent Call of Duty game, possible why it got so many good video game ratings. However, nothing was said as to whether Treyarch would be making this new Bond game.

Also, nothing was mentioned about what the story of the game would be based on. So really the game could go in any direction, it could follow a new story, a previous film, or possibly be a prequel for another film.

As for the other games hinted at, there have been some rumours recently about a new Spiderman film, which would come with a game no doubt so that hint is looking promising. Finally, the Tony Hawks game, personally I don’t think so because with Tony Hawk: Ride being released in November, I don’t think they would released another so quickly. However, you can never really tell, it’s just a waiting game now.
