Of the many cell phones that are available on the market today, LG Optimus One is representative of a shift in the market itself. From being able to text your friends in a different state to surfing the Internet while talking, cell phones are evolving faster than we can purchase them. Wherever you look, you will see a person holding a cell phone. These are not by any standard ordinary devices. Two separate issues are at hand. All smart phone makers have to decide at what point additional display quality will adversely impact the price. If a particular model is targeted to those who cannot pay for high-end devices, then what you find are devices with lower-end components. This type of technology is a combination of software and hardware that allows you to slide your finger over characters on the keyboard. So, with the Optimus One smart phone, you will have Swype capability with the keyboard that is displayed on the screen. When you type in a swiping fashion, the software is intelligent enough to determine the words you are swiping, or typing in a swiping movement. Another neat feature of this software is that it learns with more usage from you. It will figure out the most common words you type so it can recognize them faster and more accurately.

Overall, the Optimus One has sufficient technology that will satisfy all but the most demanding smart phone users. But from the standpoint of statistical normalization, this phone will be fine for practically all users. Most will be happy to use the voice search function, adequate GPS that will get the job done, and convenience of swipe text input. The only real possible drawback, we feel, has to do with the storage capability for battery power. If you tend to be a heavy user, such as going online and everything else, then you may find it necessary to recharge the battery before the end of the day. The LG Optimus One cell phone has been received well by the market. We feel several possible areas for improvement can be found in the processing power, battery charge life and definitely the standard memory capacity. As always, smart phone manufacturers have to contend with space requirements because they do not want a phone that is too heavy.
