Mario Kart Wii: Become The Best
If you have attempted multiplayer Mario Kart Wii over WiFi, then you’ll agree with us as we say that it is one of the best online gaming experiences you’ll ever play in this lifetime. The buzz of participating against fellow gamers and racing alongside them across several courses is truly out of this world.
So how brilliant is a multiplayer game of Mario Kart Wii?
Imagine this : you’re controlling Mario’s favorite go kart-style car, and you’re trailing at second position on the last lap. You are increasing momentum, and the person in pole place is in view. You know you will be able to pip them on the following bend, as quick turn drifts are your specialty. The bend approaches, you’re right at your rival’s tail. You hit the gas and reverse simultaneously. You spin the wheel and drift just past the enemy.
This is the excitement that may be gleaned in a multiplayer match of Mario Kart Wii. You will not be competing against the PC AI. You’ll be competing against real folk from varying regions of the planet. They’re living, breathing, cognitive gamers who will react accordingly to the situations encountered by each competition. This makes every game tougher, and ultimately, more fulfilling.
Do you strive to become a better Mario Kart Wii player? These are a collection of tips that will help you improve your game:
– Master the ‘rocket start.’ This is a crux of every Mario Kart game. Successfully performing the rocket start will provide you with an early edge in the competition. To instigate the rocket start, press the gas button as fast as the timer counts down to 2. You want to perfect your timing though, as being inaccurate for only a millisecond will compromise the move.
– Collisions are curses. As much as possible, avoid smashing into other players as this will reduce your speed and it’ll waste time before you build up to your peak once again. Rather than racing side-by-side with opponents, attempt to tail them, enabling you to know where they stand. Then overtake your opponent when your boost power is ready. This way, you’ll be way ahead of them and out of crashing range when the boost relents.
– Either learn the way to drift or learn how to ease off the gas button. Most gamers are plain impatient. They need to over use the acceleration at most times and run over each and every trap in a course, including walls on bends. Moreover, you won’t be ready to pull off most turns at top speed. You will need to find out how to drift or relent with the gas command to slow you down a bit, enough to perform the sudden turns found in Mario Kart Wii.
