– Master the ‘rocket start.’ This is a crux of every Mario Kart game. – Either learn the way to drift or learn how to ease off the gas button.  Most gamers are plain impatient.  They need to over use the acceleration at most times and run over each and every trap in a course, including walls on bends.  Moreover, you won’t be ready to pull off most turns at top speed.  You will need to find out how to drift or relent with the gas command to slow you down a bit, enough to perform the sudden turns found in Mario Kart Wii.
