Revolutionary Console

The {new Wii} is the fifth {home video game console} from Nintendo that has already annexed the hearts of maniacs around the globe. The gaming console
is the direct successor to the {GameCube} from Nintendo, which as per the {company targets} a broader demographic than that of {Microsoft Xbox 360} and {Sony PlayStation}. Nintento with this new gaming console is all set to beat the competitors in sales. 

A stunning and distinguishing {feature} of the console Wii is that the {model} can be used with its {wireless controller}, the {Wii Remote} and is capable of detecting {acceleration} in three {different dimensions}. This model also has {WiiConnect24} that is able to receive messages and updates over the Internet while in standby mode. It was at E3 press conference in 2003 that Nintendo first spoke of the console. Later the console got unveiled in 2005.

The Nintendo Wii gaming console was known by the code name {“Revolution”} until April 278, 2006, The Nintendo Wii gaming console recorded a stunning {success} in sales since its launch by beating the competitors around the globe. It could record sales more than the {combined sales} of its {competitors}, {Xbox 360} and {PlayStation 3} in the North America in the first half of 2007. While big names including Microsoft and Sony had experienced losses with their consoles in the hopes of making a long-term profit on {software sales}, Nintendo was lucky enough to enjoy a heavy margin of profit through out the world.

Nintendo aims a {wider demographic} with its console than that of others in the seventh generation. This is quite evident in its series of {television advertisements} in North America. The productions are Nintendo’s first broad-based advertising strategy which includes a two-minute {video clip} that shows a varied assortment of people enjoying the Wii system including urban apartment-dwellers, {country ranchers}, {grandparents} and parents with their {children}. Nintendo Wii remotes are probably the best gift for a person who already owns a {Nintendo Wii console}.
