Time’s running short and if you want to level another shaman toon to 80 you need a solid guide that will get you there before the Cataclysm hits us all. This is my first piece of advice: Do the quests instead of grinding or visiting instances. Grinding is a thing of the past and instances reward you with neat items but little experience.

Groups slow down questing because of all the social interactions so it’s best to go at it alone. Many players group up to kill mobs faster and save some time. But since you are also going to share the experience, you will overall waste more time than you can save. All the quests are easy and you can solo them without problems. Ignore the quests that require a group because they are not worth the effort in terms of experience/hour.
