Why Your Druid Needs the PvP Bible

PvP combat is in your Druid’s future, even if you’ve avoided it so far. Wrath of the Lich King has brought a new emphasis to World of Warcraft’s World PvP. The shape of things to come is visible in the new real time PvP battle zone called Lake Wintergrasp, where the emphasis is on real-time World PvP.

In this new zone, you go at it on the live server to gain points you can use to buy a wide variety of special items, including the new Heirloom items that any of the player’s characters in that account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can use.

With Lake Wintergrasp’s high popularity, and the increasing amount of PvP combat in other popular games, there will surely be even more World PvP in the future. So let’s talk about Druids and PvP:

Fighting PvP as a Druid offers many challenges and thrills, along with a lot of complexity. Druids are extremely tough to kill, and are unaffected by many of the crowd control techniques used by their opponents. With their ability to heal, fight like a Warrior and even change forms, they can do it all in PvP. Unfortunately for you, that very versatility makes Druids prime targets, and makes Druid PvP play very challenging.

Because Druids can do so many different things, they have a different optimal strategy for fighting every opposing class. Believe it or not, the best Druid PvP players apply 9 different strategies to one on one combat, one for each class of opponent. And of course, you also need to be able to adapt your Druid’s combat tactics to account for the strengths and weaknesses of your allies. It’s a lot to learn, but there are major advantages to doing so.

Many people believe that Druids have the best talents for 2v2 arena play. Some would argue that Rogues are better, but the Druid adds more depth and variety to 2-person teams. A well thought-out Druid with solid strategy and tactics can own its opponents in duels, and lead a high-end 2v2 arena team. These same characteristics make Druids welcome additions to most 3v3 or 5v5 teams.

That’s the good thing about play a Druid. But they do have weaknesses too. If you’re going to succeed in PvP against the best players, you’ll need to understand your character’s weaknesses and be able to compensate for them. Choosing the right gear goes far toward minimizing those weakenesses, once you understand how to choose it. As always, you can learn all this on your own, if you’re willing to make a major investment of time.

Or you can invest in a PvP guide that will show you what you need to know to compete with the top Player versus Player competitors. If you have a life outside the gaming world, you need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide has all the information you need to quickly boost your Druid to the top of the PvP ranks, and assuredly contains information you would never stumble on by yourself.

Find out how your Druid can come to dominate any kind of Player versus Player combat with the PvP Bible. Visit PvP-Bible.info to discover more about this great Druid PvP Guide.

3 Important PvP Concepts

While WoW Player versus Player (PvP) combat bears a lot of similarities to regular (Player versus Environment or PvE) play, there are some new concepts to learn, along with the occasional difference in the way familiar things work. Here, we’ll talk about three specific things that fit this description: the local defense channel, the resurrection timer, and the diminishing returns of crowd control and movement impairing spells.

The Local Defense Channel

The local defense channel is a zone-wide message that goes out whenever an NPC in the zone is attacked. Normally, you don’t see these messages, but they’re easy to turn on and off. To see zone-specific messages, type /join LocalDefense. To disable the messages, type /leave LocalDefense.

The world channel is similar to the zone channels, except that a message goes out whenever an NPC in any zone is attacked. To turn the world messages on and off, use /join WorldDefense and /leave WorldDefense.

The Resurrection Timer

When your character dies in PvP combat, the resurrection timer controls how long you have to wait before the character resurrects. The first time your character dies in PvP, either against another player or fighting a PvP-flagged NPC, your character can resurrect without any time penalty. For each death after that, you get a time penalty, increasing the length of time that the resurrection timer runs before your character can resurrect. The maximum possible delay before resurrection is 5 minutes.

Be aware that the delay doesn’t affect your character if another player resurrects them or you make use of special items like the Goblin Jumper Cables to resurrect more quickly.

The Diminishing Returns of Crowd Control & Movement Impairing Spells

Crowd control spells like Charm and Stun are deadly weapons in PvP. Fortunately, they have some additional limitations in PvP situations. If your character gets hit by one of these spells, then hit again with the same spell within 15 seconds of the previous spell wearing off, the duration of the second spell is reduced by 50%. If they get hit yet again, the duration of the third spell is reduced by 75%. Get hit with the same spell one more time, and this fourth casting has no effect. in addition, none of the crowd control spells last longer than 12 seconds in PvP, regardless of their normal duration. Movement impairing spells like Frost Nova and Entangling Roots are subject to the same limitations.

Learning Even More

This short article covered 3 new/changed concepts that will aid you in kicking tail in PvP. But there’s so much more to learn if you really want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players. How WotLK Has Changed World PvP

Prior to Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK), there wasn’t much much of an emphasis on World of Warcraft’s World PvP. You could find a handful of objectives in Outland. These called for you to complete a few simple missions such as retaking Haala or killing their opponents and seizing the towers or beacons in Zangarmarsh, Hellfire or Terokkar Forest. While completing these missions was easy enough, few people actually bothered with them. There were a couple of reasons for that. Firstly, the reward for completing the missions wasn’t very large. Secondly, completing many of them gave off results zone-wide. That meant that all you had to do was be in the zone to get the reward. Why put a lot of effort (or any effort at all) into completing these if the odds were good that some group or another would come along and complete them without your help before too long, and you would still get credit for it .

But that all changed when WotLK hit and the game started emphasizing more advanced, real time battles in World PvP with their first real time PvP battle zone in Lake Wintergrasp. In this new zone, you’ll find players going at it in epic battles on the live server and in doing so, earning points they can use to buy rare and valuable items such as the new Heirloom items that any character in their account from level 1 to 80 and beyond can use.

There are other areas where World PvP has been enhanced, such as the Grizzly Hills. Still, the place that everyone is talking about for World PvP is Lake Wintergrasp. There you’ll find the most new content, the most opportunity to get involved, and the biggest opportunities to advance your character’s PvP skill.

It’s clear that World PvP is immensely popular. All you have to do is check out how much people are talking about Lake Wintergrasp and how much time their characters are spending there to see it’s true. And that means we’re likely to see many more new World PvP options in future expansions and patches. Expect that your skill level now will have a huge impact on how you perform in the future as well, especially if you want to start getting the top rewards and achievements.

Would you like to know the real secrets of mastering Lake Wintergrasp? Visit TheWarcraftFormula.com today for more information and the fast track to PvP success.

Where Will I Find PvP Combat?

When people start talking about PvP combat, it soon becomes clear that there are various settings where it can happen. This short guide to the settings will make it easier for you to find PvP combat when you want it, as well as understand what everyone else is talking about! Here’s your introduction to each setting:

Fighting Duels

Duels are one-on-one battles between players. You can duel pretty much anywhere you want, except within cities. You’ll often find players who are looking for a duel hanging around outside the entrances to major cities looking for someone to challenge.

The Battlegrounds

The battlegrounds are areas where Horde and Alliance compete to earn marks. Marks serve as a sort of money that you can trade for various items, including better PvP gear. You can exchange marks for stuff at the special PvP vendor shops.

The Arenas

Arena combat is organized team versus team combat in the form of an ongoing tournament. Teams (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) battle to earn Arena Points. Points are awarded by team, so fighting as part of a team rather than earning individual glory is the goal. When in the Arena, you can encounter teams from your own faction as well as teams from the enemy faction.

Random PvP

Any time you encounter a player from the other faction who has their PvP flag on, you can do battle with them. In PvP realms, you PvP flag is automatically on, except when you are in certain protected areas. You can manually turn your PvP flag on and off by typing /pvp. Regardless of what you do, various situations and locations will turn your PvP flag on automatically, even if you aren’t playing in a PvP realm.

World PvP

If you visit the Eastern Plaguelands, Silithus, Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest, or Nagrand, you will find goals that require PvP combat. If you want to achieve those goals, you had better be ready to fight.

The PvP Zones

Wintergrasp is the first of a new type of zone that is totally dedicated to PvP combat. Expect more in the future.

Where Can You Get More Information?

You should now have a basic understanding of the different settings where you can find PvP combat. But if you want to dominate PvP combat, or even hold your own against more experienced players, there’s a lot more you should learn. To learn everything you need to know, including the newest strategies & tactics that will show you how to dominate all aspects of PvP, visit PvP-Bible.info

Druid, Use This PvP Guide to Dominate Player Versus Player Combat

In the WoW PvP (Player versus Player) combat system, playing a Druid is both challenging and exciting. The class gives you lots of opportunities and options, but also there’s a lot of potential complexity. If you have any PvP experience you’ve probably noticed that Druids are difficult to kill, but frequently the first target of the enemy. Because they can do so many things (fight like a tank, heal, even change forms) Druids are extremely versatile. This makes them prime targets for the other side, while simultaneously arming them with the options and abilities they need to defend themselves, if only they know how to use them. In short, PvP as a Druid is one of the better PvP experiences you’ll find.

Thanks to Druid’s varied abilities, they have a different optimal strategy for fighting every opposing class. That’s right, the best Druid PvP gamers know and use 9 different strategies to one on one combat, one for each type of opponent they face. And of course, you also need to be able to adapt your Druid’s combat tactics to account for the strengths and weaknesses of your allies. It’s a lot to learn, but there are major advantages to doing so.

Most people believe that Druids are the best class for 2v2 arena play. Some would make a case for the Rogue, but the Druid adds more depth and variety to 2-person teams. A well thought-out Druid using strong strategy and tactics can own its opponents in duels, and can be the leader of a top-tier 2v2 arena team. And of course, these same attributes make Druids great additions to 3v3 or 5v5 teams.

That’s the good thing about play a Druid. But they do have weaknesses too. If you’re going to succeed in PvP against the best players, you’ll need to understand your character’s weaknesses and be able to compensate for them. Choosing the right gear can go far toward minimizing those weakenesses, once you know which gear is the right gear. As always, you can learn everything you need to know while you play, if you’re willing to make a major investment of time.

Or you can invest in a PvP guide that contains the distilled wisdom of the top Player versus Player competitors. If you have a life outside the gaming world, you need a Druid in PvP guide. The ultimate Druid Guide has all the information you need to quickly boost your Druid to the top of the PvP ranks, and will surely show you things you would never have come up with on your own.

The All New Warcraft Formula: a Better Warcraft Guide

World of Warcraft is dominated by a relatively small number of elite players. The game has been online for four years now and I would swear that some players have been online the entire time, pretty much destroying anyone in their path to become the best around. Is it any wonder that those of us who can’t or won’t make that time commitment look for something, anything to help them get better and gain a little ground on the expert players out there. Luckily, every now and then a guide actually comes along that can help normal folks like you and me become a top player in this world of elites. The Warcraft Formula is a comprehensive guide to all things WoW. It is now, and always will be (you’ll see why in a minute), the newest, and arguably best, of the guides.

To be accurate, the Warcraft Formula isn’t really a single guide. It’s a series of guides, with a new one created and published each month, and only people who subscribe to Warcraft Formula get them. The idea behind this is simple, yet really makes loads of sense. You pay an upfront fee to get something called the Fast Track Action Plan, along with a copy of every single guide that’s already been published. The Fast Track Action Plan includes everything from an outline of how to build out your character, modify your UI, the right class and professions to go for, to detailed advice on how to get yourself invited into a guild, get your feet wet in PvP without getting humiliated, and go out raiding. Then each month the Warcraft Formula team will create and send you a new guide stuffed with the latest information.

I’ve seen the initial materials. They were full of first class content. Each guide was about 30 pages long and included three features, top news from the month, questions from readers, a suggested plan of action for the month and a preview of next month’s material. Each of the feature articles was full of useful content on all sorts of important topics, from building up the most effective strategy for dominating with your Death Knight to the art of assembling a 10-player raid. While they don’t tell you every minute detail for you (what fun would that be?), they still give you plenty of useful information and you still get a lot more than you find in the general strategies found in most of the existing Warcraft guides on the market. And of course you get tons of extras, like the Fast Action Plan you get when you sign up.

Overall, this is an impressive new idea that provides something I’ve never seen before in a WoW product: a never-ending stream of continually updated information straight from the mouths of real experts. You get a new ebook every month for a small monthly fee, . Grabbing this fast will definitely help you pull yourself ahead of the competition and move toward the ranks of the Warcraft elite. Click here to make your move.

First Look Inside the Revolutionary Warcraft Formula

With the huge popularity of World of Warcraft, and with all the websites and guides and information on the game that’s available, you would be forgiven for thinking that every possible angle would be covered. I was sure every angle was covered. But I was wrong. I’ve just spent some time reviewing a whole new approach to Warcraft information. It’s an accurate, detailed, and timely guide to everything that’s going on in the world of Warcraft called the Warcraft Formula.

Now that they’ve done it, it’s clear what a great idea it is and I can’t believe it’s taken this long for someone to do it. You pay a small upfront fee for full access to the complete library of Warcraft Formula guides going back to the Wrath of the Lich King release. Each month after that, you get the newest guide in the series for an additional $17. Each of these monthly guides comes with PvP strategies, recent game news, class strategies, the latest gold making schemes, action plans, and information that’s as fresh as it comes, written up right when it happens.

When you join the Warcraft Formula family, you also get the Action Plan, a detailed guide that shows even beginners how to build up their account from nothing all the way up to being as effective as the hard-core veteran gamers out there. Warcraft Formula really impressed me with all the value it gives. By creating this monthly service, the guys behind the product have made it conceivable for players at any skill level who start with nothing and build their way up to pro status. With fresh strategies and information every month, getting in on this will put you far ahead of your competitors.

Now let’s be clear about this. The Warcraft Formula isn’t a guide to one single aspect of the game. That is, you don’t buy this product to get a leveling guide or a gold guide or PvP guide alone. You’re getting information on each of those elements of the game, plus a whole lot more. Even better, because you will be getting monthly updates (usually in the form of an approximately 30-page ebook) you’re getting strategies and advice that only Warcraft Formula members will be seeing. This eliminates one of the biggest problems with traditional, single-topic guides which is that they quickly get out of date and are mostly nerfed by the time you get your hands on them.

But any guide is only as accurate as the people who make it. That makes this guide very good indeed. This guide is written by Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders. Johnson is the guy behind Warcraft Millionaire. Sanders is the guy behind the PvP Bible. In case you don’t recognize their names, these guys are big in WoW guides. As top PvP and game gold experts, you can’t do better than these two guys when it comes to a great source for the best news and information about the game.

If you’re looking for the next big thing in Warcraft guides, you’ve come to the right place. This is the product you want. Don’t delay and take a chance on missing out on Warcraft Formula. Leave your opponents in the dust. check it out!
