Things To Be Informed On The Xerox Xc23 Printer

While it’s true that Xerox no longer offers the Xerox XC23 printer as new, this is a model many people have and many will find valuable.  There are quite a few used printers of this model for sale though, and you may very well be in the market for one. A simple online search will result in plenty of retailers that have this model in stock. Following are the specifications for this printer/copier that uses XC23 printer toner cartridges, as well as some basic information.

First and foremost, when you consider the specs of this model, you have to keep in mind that it is in fact a printer and a copier. The speeds won’t be the same as a machine that is only a printer. This model copies and prints up to 23 ppm black and white with Xerox Phaser toner . That is a pretty decent speed for a copier. Depending on what you are using it for, this would easily accommodate most small business needs.

This printer has a maximum input of 750 sheets automatic and 50 sheets manual. The maximum monthly volume is at 20,000 sheets, so this copier is a workhorse as far as productivity goes. It comes standard with an automatic document feeder, collator, and stapler. The collator type is sorting bins, and there is no binder available.

This particular printer uses a light lens. It also uses standard cartridges that you can purchase from the Internet. It should be noted that this printer is not really meant for home use. Weighing in at 152 pounds this would best serve a business.

One nice thing about this model is that you can set it to make up to 99 copies at a time. It also comes with five different enlargement/reduction settings. This allows you to format your copies in a variety of sizes, and can save paper by allowing you to shrink images to fit.

This is a larger unit, as I stated before. The dimensions are 35.5 x 24.2 x 22 inches. It weighs approximately 152 pounds. This may be a little large for standard home use, but if you have the space it wouldn’t be completely unreasonable to use in your home office. Although this is more for the small business, when you look at the price for the used models, you may want to consider it for home use.

All in all, this does seem to be a pretty efficient machine.  This is very similar to what I would expect to see at my local grocery store or small print shop for basic copies. A straight forward, no fuss copier and printer, with a decent work load and simple user interface. Because it is a basic no frills model, even beginners should not have any problem using this machine.

As I stated earlier, the Xerox XC23 printer is no longer available, so you would be purchasing a used unit. There are quite a few online retailers that are selling this model, and they appear to run about $250 across the board. The cartridges are also available at a wide variety of places, and are roughly $80 each. When considering the price, this seems to be a great value for your money.

Online retailers stock XC23 toner, as they do for the many different types of Xerox Phaser cartridge. Great prices on printer toners can be found just with a little searching and a few clicks.
