Japanese cutesy culture came to life on our computer and TV screens back in the nineties and most people either loved them or hated them but they were hugely popular with gamers. This was a phenomenon that was everywhere from the cartoons we were watching to toys on shop shelves. We are still seeing these Pokemon games today and they are still as popular because of the impact they have had on the handheld gaming devices.

 

The popularity of these game series leaves the game developers with the question of whether it would be better to make more games for these series or to invest in a new series completely.
