Trying To Find A Great Present? Maybe You Should Consider An IPhone
iPhones might be comparatively expensive, but if you’re trying to find a special gift then it might be the perfect choice.
An iPhone can do everything a usual mobile can do, making calls, texts, etc. as well as being able to do everything a mobile browser can do (such as checking emails, going online, etc). As well as this, the iPhone has many special features such a camera, video camera, touch screen and a built-in accelerometer. One of the gadgets‘ big selling points is the iPod built into the phone, which lets the user listen to music and watch their films and television shows.
The biggest plus of the iPhone however is the downloadable applications. The applications can be designed and distributed by Apple, independent developers and major studios and there are a huge number of them, including games, communications apps, financial apps and a huge amount of others. The applications range from totally free to hundreds of pounds and everywhere in between, depending on what the application does.
This means you can purchase the phone and pre-download applications you think might be useful to the person you’re buying the phone for, meaning you effectively end up with personalised gifts. For example, if you’re buying the phone for someone going off to university, you could download applications that give you train times and schedules, a map application, one for finding the cheapest priced food and clothes, a television application, skype, etc. So the present is not only good in the short term, but is incredibly useful and good for the long term.
iPhones are reasonably expensive to buy as a gift, but could work if you’re looking for graduation presents or 18th Birthday gifts. If you purchase them on pay as you go you will have to pay for the phone, but if you’re happy to take out a reasonably affordable monthly contract you’ll be able to get the phone for free.
