Warrior – Tank & Spank

In the World of Warcraft Warriors are considered to be well-known for their tanking and dps abilities. Because he can perform well in both PvE and PvP as a really good tank or melee dps, a Warrior can easily find a spot in any PvP team, instance or a raid group. Warriors became even more popular and fun to play when the dual spec became available.

Playing a Warrior tank is definitely fun but after some time it can also become boring, because everybody likes a change once in a while. Now that you can choose a second talent build like the Arms and Fury talent build you can freely switch between the both of the specs without paying gold. With a setup like this you will be able to gather gear for both your tanking build and damage or PvP build. If you posses the adequate gear for certain build, you can switch when needed, in example tank an instance to help your friends, or you can also change to a dps Warrior if you feel like doing some PvP or just grinding. Have in mind though, that tanks are always harder to find and they are essential for any group so you will definitely be appreciated as a tank.

The Protection talent tree, like said before, should be followed by players that want to turn their Warrior in a capable tank. The talents that can be chosen in the Protection talent tree will make the Warrior a tough cookie. By enhancing his armor, giving him more Stamina, making him more capable with his shield, giving him several attacks that create a lot of threat and by giving the Warrior several other great abilities the Protection tree is great for players that like to play an important role in raids and dungeons, namely the role of the tank.

When it comes to increasing your Warrior’s damage, you will have Fury and Arms talent trees at your hand. Arms has always been the talent tree that was preferred by PvP Warriors because it had several great PvP talents and a few great attacks like Mortal Strike, which when used on a target decreases the healing done on that same target. The Mortal Strike has proven to be lethal for many arena teams and in PvP in general. For more information on WoW class guides, read our review: Warcraft Pros Review

When it comes to PvE dps, the Fury talent build is mostly used to enhance the damage output of your dps Warrior. There are a lot of complaints however about the damage output a Fury Warrior can make and some say that an Arms Warrior is even more effective in PvE, which basically would mean that Fury became an useless build. However, you will need to try it out yourself in order to get the clear picture which talent build is better for you. The Fury talent build will offer you a couple of useful attack abilities and not to mention that you can also equip Two-Handed Weapons that look terrific!

Since the beginning of time, Warriors have always had a special role in civilizations and they were the most important factor of any battle. This amazing class in WoW is the only once that can equip all types of weapons. While wearing plate armor and a shield a Warrior makes a great tank and while wielding two-handed weapons he can cause a lot of havoc.
