Warrior Leveling Secrets – Fury Vs Arms Talents

Welcome to this Warrior guide about the question which talent tree is optimal for fast Warrior leveling. The optimal leveling talent build is required to kill off monsters as fast as possible. But which one is better? The Fury Talent build or the Arms spec?

Alright, let’s take a look at the Fury talent tree to find out what the strengths and weaknesses are. This leveling spec focuses on wielding two weapons, one in each hand. Later you can even wield two two-handed weapons. It’s all about attack speed and hitting your enemy often. The Fury build allows you to have a consistently high DPS. The weakness of the build is the lack of burst damage – the DPS is always very similar.

The arms spec on the other hand is all about wielding one slow, two handed weapon. You will want to get the most out of every single swing. Since the DPS of your weapon is divided in damage and attack speed, a slow attack speed results in a higher damage per attack.

There are many skills and abilities that grant you extra attacks with your weapon that deal damage instantly. And that damage is great as we have seen. This is the reason why you can deal huge burst damage with the Arms spec.

Now, what do you need for leveling? The answer is: The arms spec is superior. Consistent damage is great if you can deal damage without making a break. Like when fighting a boss mob. But questing is a totally different chapter of the story. You have to take a break after each fight to regenerate your hitpoints.

These breaks are perfect to get the cooldowns of your skills back up. And once you engage in the next fight you can deal burst damage again. That’s way more effective then dealing the averagely high damage and waste damage potential while making a break!

I hope you enjoyed this Warrior guide – see you at level 85 soon!
