WoW First Aid Guide

First aid is an important skill to have. You will suffer damage on your character at some time or another no matter how good or what level you are. Not knowing first aid will make it harder to heal after a battle. To perform first aid on other characters as well as yourself we have made some tips on how to do this.

The first aid skill is considered a secondary skill, which means that you can merge it with any other profession. This skill really comes in handy and is most likely the best secondary skill you can learn. Here is how to begin.

This guide will help you level in your skill quickly. Two main components or items are required to begin. All first aid skills require bandages or anti-venoms. You will need to find anti-venom or complete quests to get that item when you first get started. Anti-venom is a extremely useful item in which different situations call for different types of this item.

You will not have the best bandages yet, because they will only be available once you advance in skill, but they are better than nothing. Begin by getting an apprenticeship from your local trainer. You can always go back and learn more, but this will get you started.

Once your skill level is 150 you will need to buy the Expert First Aid – Under Wraps item. Alliance players can find theirs in the Arathi Highlands. If you are a Horde player you can find yours in Dustwallow Marsh. To level past 150 you will need to obtain this item. On the road to achieving a skill level of 375, you are well on your way by this point.

When you achieve a skill level of 225, you will need to complete the Triage Quest which will swiftly bump you up to 300. Keep in mind that once you reach 240 you can go back to your trainer to learn advanced bandage wrapping to quickly move up in skill level.

Anti-venoms are accessible as you advance in skill. At skill level 80, you will be able to get your first one from your trainer. depending on where you get it, this costs about 1 silver and 50 copper. After you hit skill level 130, you will be able to purchase the strong anti-venom which typically sells for about 2 silver and 50 copper.
